GOD Will Speak Clear Through HIS Word
Hearing from GOD is probably the most anticipated prize in anyone's life who is diligently seeking after the LORD. Even if you are an unbeliever and don't really believe that there is a GOD who truly loves you past what you can fathom, you too may have wanted to hear GOD's voice at some point in your lifetime. Usually when a person is going through hard times in their life is when they can't wait to hear from GOD.
Truth is, in order to hear from GOD, you have to be willing to slow "your world" down in order to hear HIM. GOD speaks to us all the time, however, we are unable to discern because our lives are too noisy most of the time. Slow down.. take a chill pill, and relax. HE is looking to speak to any and everyone who is willing to humble themselves=>> James 4:10
The best way to hear from GOD is through HIS Word or the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: v.17-> That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
But, don't just read the bible just to be reading it. You need to have faith that what you are reading are the very words of God and they will change you life if you let it. So, let me ask you.. Why do you want to hear from God? Do you have peace in your life? Do you have questions that you really need answered? Is your life falling apart? Learn on HIM and he will give you rest to your soul=> Matthew 11:28
GOD Speaks By Repetition and Enlargement
It's very easy to get your emotions and feelings mixed up when trying to hear what God is trying to tell you. Believe me, I've been in your shoes. I still get confused sometimes if God is speaking to me or if I'm just getting in the way. If you are impressed to do something, or help someone, or carry out an assignment, God usually will magnify what He wants you to do.
For example, let's take this Hubpage that I am writing. I know for a fact that it is God's will for everyone to know about Him and give their hearts to Him, however, as a Christian it is my joy and duty to tell the world about Jesus Christ the Son of God (Matthew 28: 19-20) so everyone would have the chance to escape the bondage of Satan=> John 10:10
Repetition
Before writing about this topic, I believe the Holy Spirit impressed upon me to speak about the Love of God, which is infinite and has no boundaries. I believe most people don't accept Jesus Christ, the Son of God because of their preconceived notion about Him. God has called all true Christians to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to let the world know about Him.
So anyway, God has put this on my heart over and over and over and over again. Procrastination set in for a while until I decided to heed to the voice of God and write this Hub.
Enlargement
God is interested in the big picture and not just for the moment. If you ever feel impressed to do something and it fits perfectly in the will of God, then carry out your duties with joy. What a blessing it is to be in the will of God! God's big picture has already been accomplished by the shed blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Now it's time for others who don't know HIM to follow Him and break the chains of Bondage. God's enlargement is in the saving of souls to the Kingdom.

God Will Be Sure to Speak to Us Through Circumstances
There are many times in our lives where God will speak to us through what happens to us. Just go and read the book of JOB and you will understand exactly what I am talking about. You may have wondered before why does bad things happen to good people? Why did my mom or dad have to die of cancer? Why did I lose my job? Why does God permit evil to happen? Why is this happening to me?
These are all valid questions to ask God right? Take these types of questions to Him in prayer and be patient for your answer, but don't jump to conclusions. From experience in my life, God will allow certain things to happen in your life to get your attention, because he knows what's best for you. Beloved, do you lack faith? There is a very good possibility that God is trying to increase your faith through circumstance.
We literally will perish if we leaned on our own understanding- Proverbs 3:5. Think about the last time you had heartache in your life. Who did you turn to? Unfortunately, we seem to only turn to the Lord when the going gets tough. Don't be like King Manasseh who reigned in Jerusalem over 50 years and did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord. He cried out to God when he was afflicted because of His folly against the Lord- 2 Chronicles 33:11-13
Although the Christian walk takes a working out our own salvation, God is always has a listening ear when we're humble. Look around you. Is your life a mess? Are you in pain? Comtemplating suicide? Turn to Jesus Christ today and He will wash away your SINS and give you a peace that passes understanding- Philippians 4:6-7

mmmh, i dont know if god is truley seaking to me or if its just my imagination. i want him to speak to me and give me things to do today i saw my Uncle for the first time in 7 years. he didnt reconize me cause hes been addicted to drugs for a while now, i want to help my uncle. and i dont think it was a considence for seeing him there either. cause he usually lives in either vancouver or gaborila. i dont know if i should help him, i need god to give me the srength and courage.
Keeley, there are no coincidences.. GOD is in the business of saving souls and breaking the chains of those who are bound to the snares of the Enemy. Drug addiction..this is not the will of GOD; salvation and Freedom is the will of GOD... It's always HIS will to help those like your uncle; Keeley, heed to the voice of GOD and help your uncle the best way you can, even if it's just praying for him. Many people think that they can ask God for a sign that it is really Him directing them.
Jesus warns us while He Himself is being tested of satan in the wilderness 40 days and 40 nights after His baptism He tells satan,"Thou shalt not put the Lord Thy God to the test." In otherwards do not ask God to prove He is God.

I am 14 yrs old i really dont know if god is speaking to me cause i never had heard him i wish i could though i have been prayin every night in april it was the first time for me seing my mom in 8 yrs but she left again to go back to oklahoma wish i could be with her so i have been prayin that sometime soon i could be with her again

You keep praying.. GOD always here's your prayers. Ask HIM to increase your FAITH. If it is HIS will to be reconnected with your Mom again, you will see doors start to open up. Don't get discouraged. Seek HIM first and all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33)

I am 14 years old and just became christian this year. I feel as if my faith for God is growing stronger everyday but i still do not know if God is talking to me, if it is him or my imagination. Ive been asking him for visions or dreams so i know he is talking to me but i still have not recieved one.

Hey Emma, God also speaks STRONGLY through our judgment and reasonings. What are you expecting from the LORD? What have you been praying for?
If your wants line up with HIS wants, this is a sure sign that he is speaking to you. GOD expects us to use our rational reasoning to make the RIGHT decision on a daily basis.
He may not necessarily give you a dream, but may confirm HIS will for your life through other people, circumstances, etc.

Mike, the fact that you are here tells me that you are either searching or you landed here for a reason. There are NO coincidences my friend. I'm praying for you brother. Whatever you need I am here for you. What's going on in your life? Are you happy? Do you have a peace of mind? GOD is real, and I hear HIM and talk to HIM daily and HE speaks to me. This page really helped me understand alot more about my faith in god. You are a truly blessed man, I do have a question. I pray to god and my lord jesus christ every day and ask him to help me become a better person and to take all the sin and evil things about me out of my heart. As everyday goes by it gets so hard to fight sin and temptation and I dont want to fall into sin again I want to be more like my savior and have god be pleased with me. I am going through a hard time in my life and i know in my heart the only one that i love and that can help me is my lord god, but sometimes i feel something is blocking my communication with him... Hey Anthony, God Bless You Bro.. I give ALL Praises to my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me these words to bless others by HIS grace; the HOLY SPIRIT is definitely working in your life bro.. Your desire to be FREE of SIN means the LORD is wooing your HEART; and I can surely relate to the trial and temptations everyday. Unfortunately, those won't stop as long as the Devil is down here and as long as he still have our carnal nature.
So here are a few things you can do to overcome:
1. Read and Meditate on the Word daily- Colossians 3:16 says let the word of GOD dwell in your Richly..
2. Believe what you pray for- Once you get done praying to the LORD to help you overcome, believe it, and you will receive it; This is the LORD's will for your life.
3.Don't Be Hard on Yourself- If you feel like you're failing, keep getting back up.. The enemy would want nothing more than to have you Quit on your sanctification journey.
4. Intercept Thoughts with Scripture- It is imperative to get in the mode of memorizing scripture as this is your line of defense against a faulty imagination. One of my favorites to quote is found in 2 Corinthians 10:5..

I am so thankful that the God of the universe speaks to us!!! Thank you so much for writing these words, there is so much confusion as to whether or not God still speaks in the kinds of ways He did in the stories we read in Scripture. He never changes. :)
I love what you wrote about having to WAIT on His words. It definitely comes out of the overflow of time spent with Him and always agrees with the written Word. And AMEN to the fact that He is a God who breaks every chain and releases every captive by the blood of Jesus! God bless you brother!!!

What beautiful and true words coming from a man who Loves Christ. "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand" Revelation 1:3
The time to believe in God and hear His voice is NOW. Nobody will make it to Heaven unless they begin to trust in God, Hear His voice, and do those things which are GOOD in His sight. In order to obey His commandments (be Christ-Like) we must first learn to 'listen' and 'hear" Him. Love this post.
