Cut Your Calorie in Half-If you are struggling to lose weight, you are more than likely consuming twice as much calories as you are supposed to be eating. For example, let's say that you are taking in about 2500 calories of the wrong types of foods.

It would be a wise move to cut at least 200-300 calories from your diet per week until you end up around 1300-1500 calories per day if you are a female, and around 1500-1800 calories if you are a male. Be careful not to cut calories to fast as your body is very smart, and will probably react in an unhealthy way.

Take in the Green: Eating more leafy foods like spinach and more fiber foods like broccoli, asparagus, green beans, and a lot of salads will give your body the cleansing it needs.  Popeye is not the only one who can benefit from a good hearty plate full of green spinach:)  I love calling these types of foods power foods, because they not only help the body in cleaning itself out; they also have many healing attributes that makes the body operate in it's optimal levels.

Eating more of these types of foods will cause your bowels to move, which will assist in shrinking your stomach down to it's normal size. Also, while taking in these types of foods on a regular basis for massive weight loss, make sure you are drinking a lot of water to speed up the process.

Burn Those Left Over Calories: Know that your body is in the right motion with the proper calorie intake and the right foods, it's time to burn the rest of them off your body. Most of the time, weight loss is easy in the first 2 weeks due to water weight and carbohydrate depletion.

Try going for a brisk walk or jog on an empty stomach early in the morning if possible. Go to your local Wal-Mart and pick up a sauna suit to burn more calories, and a pedometer to see how many calories you burn each day.
