Lead generation in your network marketing business is as critical as breathing in and out. Without qualified prospects to see what you've got, there is no hope for success at all. I learned this the hard way back in 2004 when I was first getting started in the MLM industry. Every SOUL I came across, I made it a point to qualify them using the 3 foot rule. Guess what? It didn't work. I did manage though to sign up a few friends in my very first MLM company called.. Well, I won't mention their name because they are not in business anymore.

Fast forward... the internet came along and began to attract numerous network marketers who were sick and tried of trying to convince their friends and families to join them in their deal. The brand new fad on the internet is known as network marketing lead generation systems. These particular systems were created to lift the HEAVY load off network marketers who did not have the time to train, recruit, and market on their own. In other words, I believe they were created to save time in building a downline as quick as possible.

I've seen a SLEW of network marketers, especially newbies, who look for something to follow. A system that will tell them what to do and how to do it. Although these MLM systems can be great resources for the user, it can hinder one's idea of reliable success. So just what exactly are you branding in your business? Are you branding a system or are you standing out above the crowd as an expert in attraction marketing?

Are you following someone else or are you being groomed to become a leader yourself so that YOU can teach others how to lead? Branding who you are and your name will be more attractive in the long run than branding a system. That's why massive lead generation for your network marketing business MINUS the MLM system = a Big Fat Check. People who see you as an Authority who is consistent in providing value will cling to you like glue, and your business will soon take off.

Your primary focus in your network marketing business is to grow list of loyal subscribers who will come to know, like, and trust who YOU are first as a person, and what you have to offer as a business owner second. One of the major problems I've seen in one of the systems that I used to be involved with was the lack of learning this skill. Granted, there was a bunch of trainng videos on how to market, but there wasn't anything pertaining to the importance of list building, building trust, and branding.

Why is over 97% of people failing in Network Marketing? Because they have not been able to lead and stand out above the crowd. One of the other major reasons deals with MONEY. Most peoples' relationship to MONEY is skewed by this society of money-getting. The SOUL of Money is SERVICE. So, if the money you want is in other people's pockets, how are you going to get it?

In order to get more get value, all you have to do is give more give value. When you come from a foundation of trying to Build more people, the people will eventually build your business for you. Trying to close a prospect into your deal on the first date is the biggest No-No in this industry, and I've seen and been a victim of both situations. There would literally be times when I would get a call from someone who found me online and without getting to know me or dig into what I want, it's all about them.

Let me assure you my friend, this will never - ever excel you in business. Although some have been successful at this, it will soon back fire on them, MARK MY WORDS! And, if you think about it, those people are so desperate and LAZY, they can't and will not take the time out to build a real business of value. So what does this have to do with the topic at hand today?
